WHen Cassander had returned into Macedone, he was aduertised that the cities of Lemne and Ca∣ry (Seleuke & Ptolome their confederates) were by Antigone his Souldiours sore warred on and oppres∣sed. Wherefore he sent parte of his armie for their suc∣coures, to deteyn•• Antigone in Asie, to the end he should haue no leisure to passe into Europe.
