Mat. 12. 25.

The text.

Euerie kingdome ∴ diuided against it selfe, shal be made de∣solate: and euerie citie or house diuided against it selfe, shall not stande.

The note.

Therefore the kingdome of heretikes can not possibly stand, bicause it is alwaies full of diuision and dissention.

The answer.

If all heresies and sects in the whole world be raked out, and al their contentions, and strifes numbred, yet neither in number, nor in weight can they excéede the strifes that haue béene, and are among our popish heretikes themselues. Wherefore as their kingdome hath alreadie begun to fall, so it is not like to endure.
