Yeryco was somtyme a lytell cyte / but it was wasted / & now is it but a lytell towne / that towne toke Iosue thrugh myracle of god & byd∣dynge of the angell & destroyed it & cursed all tho se yt buylded it agayne. Of that cyte was Raah yt comon woman that receyued messengers of Israell & kepte theym fro many peryls of deth & therfore she had a good rewarde as holy wrytte sayth.
