X, Is a semiuowell, and hathe the force of a double consonant, for the whiche in olde wrytinges cs, and gs, was vsed, As Apecs, Gregs, For Apex, Grex, In cō∣position of woordes S, is not written after an X, As the rule is, Post X non scribitur S, vt Exugo, is.
