Let them digest in horse-dung, or let them stande in a stooue close stopped in a glasse vessell for a moneth, thē straine them: after adde to it, thuris, masticis, myrrhae, ana ℥iiij. sanguinis draconis.℥.j. mummiae, ℥.xij. terebinthinae, lib.i. benioni, ℥.ij. Let them circulate in a pellican eight daies: then at a moderate fire drawe foorth the sprites of wine, and there will remaine in the bottome a precious Balme.
