¶ Mekenesse is perfyte rote of all vertue / and is a good remedye agaynst the synne of pryde.

¶ Largesse in asmesse dedys / is remedye a∣gaynst coue•…•…yse and a•…•…eryce.
¶ Also dyscr•…•… abstynence / is remedye a∣gaynst glotony and dronkennesse.
¶ Vertuous busynesse / is remedy agaynst the synne of slouth.
¶ And wylful chastyte is remedy agaynst the synne of Lech•…•…y / and conconcupysence of the flesshe.
