Monsoni, [1] savage people of North America in the Fort Nelson [2] region. They kill many beavers, some of which are very black, a rare color for this animal. They sell all of their pelts to the English.

1. Presently referred to as Moose Cree First Nation. Alternative transliterations have included Monsone, Monsonee, Monsoni, Monsonico, Monsounic, and Monzoni.

2. A settlement of the Hudson’s Bay company.
