Perfecting [1], a term in Printing . Printers speak of perfecting when they print the second side of a sheet, that is to say, the side on the back of that which has already been printed.
1. retiration . The word reiteration is also used in English with the same meaning as perfecting, and is also used as a noun ‘printing the reiteration’ but perfecting is now the commoner term. The process of perfecting is also called ‘printing the second forme’. See the article Printing for more details.
