Erectors (erecteurs) of the penis (verge) or ischiocavernous, are two muscles, fleshy in their origin, which come from the tuberosity of the ischium, above the cavernous bodies of the penis; these muscles attach to the thick membranes of the cavernous bodies. See Cavernous and Muscle.
