And hardy, & of honur, He kepte bestes y [in.] þe pastour, Line 472 Swylk on was þys ilke Parys, A duk hardi, & a knyght wys; [hardy knyght & wys.] He kepte bestes in þe feld As a knyght armed wiþ scheld.
