BE hit i-knowe to all ffeyȝghtfull men of holy church that I, Willyam of Hereville, willyng and grauntyng Johan my wiffe, ȝafe, and with my present charter confermed, to god & to the church of Seynte marie of Oseneye, In-to ffree and perpetuell almes, thoo twoo acris of londe þe which þe Incluse of Hoke|norton vnto his dethe helde In almys, that is to say, j. acre vppon Otehulle, And j. in Watbrach; and j. acre of mede In Heme Mede, to be holde ffrely And quietly and fro all Seculer seruice. In-to witnesse of the which yifte þe chanons of þe Same church yafe to me xx. s. and to my wiffe j. Besaunte, þese witnesse, et cetera.
