Typewritten letter from Jean L. Masterson

326 Hamel Ave. Glenside, Penna. Nov. 2nd, 1938. Mr. Orson Welles The Columbia Broadcasting Co. New York City, N.Y. Dear Mr. Welles: I listened to your very realistic program Sunday night and enjoyed it very much. I wrote this bit of poetry and hope it will cheer you up after all the adverse criticism you have been receiving. Although I am only sixteen years old, I think that the thrill your broadcast gave me will last me as long as I live. With all good wishes for your continued suc- cess, I am Sincerely yours Jean L. Masterson Mr. Orson Welles
