3 Figuren, in die solche 4 stetig proportionierte Linien eingezeichnet sind.
S. 30:

Also gegeben x + y und xy, gefordert x und y. Die Lösung ist sehr
weitschweifig. In den Additamenta (S. 69) die elegante Lösung: suche
- 2aus - _ xy.
S. 31 (so lies statt 39):
Prop. XV, 8) ~Ex dato rectangulo aequali ei, quod sub Lateribus

Also die Aufgabe, aus x y und x: y x und y zu finden. Hier
soll aus den,Additamenta" (S. 70, 71) eingefügt werden:

Die Lösungen werden auf geometrischem Wege gesucht; zu II auch ein
Zahlenbeispiel: (x - 12): (x - 36) = 12: 8, also = 3: 2, Lösung 84.
S. 32 (so lies statt 40) u. 33:

Das schiefwinklige Dreieck ABD sei durch DG in zwei schiefwinklige
Dreiecke D)GA und DGB geteilt, und gegeben sei <) ADB, DG: GB
oder DG: GA, ferner GB: GA. Dann seien die Dreiecke DGA und
