20 Maximilian Curtze: De diminutione integrorum. In diminutione quoque unusquisque ponendus est in propria statione, et minor de maiore auferendus est vel minor minuendus. Ultima dividenti quotiens in ultima vel ultimis dividendi fuerit denominatione super primam divisoris posita totiens de reliquo sequens aufertur. Verbi gratia 25920 partes omnes fere continens 25920 per 24 dividantur hoc modo 252. Ponatur talis numerus super primam dividentis, qui per ultimam eiusdem demat ultimam vel ultimas dividendi, tali tamen conditione, ut de reliquo per denominationem sequens minuatur 1 sic 1920.
