摘要：中国满学研究在近二十多年取得重大发展，走向兴盛。主要体现在研究成果丰硕、研究方法创新、研究机构建立、研究人才培养、学术国际交流、独立学科形成等诸方面。为总结满学研究历程，交流最新研究成果，幵创满学研究未来，推动学科建设，促进国际满学研究合作发展，2006 年9月21日至23日在大连民族学院召开了由大连民族学院、辽宁省民族研究所和黑龙江大学满族语言文化研究中心联合举办的“首届中国满学高峰论坛”。来自全国各省、市、自治区及日本的专家学者共八十多人参加了会议。论坛就当前满学研究中的重大问题、满学领域的诸多问题进行了广泛深入的研讨。这次会议是满学发展史上的一次重要会议，对今后中国乃至国际满学研究的发展，将产生深远的影响。
