Samuel Campbell Esq. Dear Sir, I commend to your confidence & generosity, the Bearer, Mrs. Harriet Tubman. She is regarded in the somewhat extended Circle of her acquiantances as a heroic Wo man. Few have done & suffered as much as she in behalf of our ensla ved Countrymen. Her designs for the accomplishment of which, she asks the assistance of her Acquaintances, are described by Rev. S. J.
