Dear Friends

A copy of the Resolutions
passed by you Nov 29th. came to
hand through your Corresponding
Secretary Mrs Webb 2 days since and
I hasten to write on behalf of
the Rochester Ladies Anti Slavery
Society to say that until the
Resolutions came we had no
information as to when the name of the
society sending the g generous donation - and it was
not till since the Report was
published that it was known
to the Rochester Society that there
was more than the $242.50 which
was acknowledged, donated to the
Society. Mrs Webbs several letters
being addressed to "Anna Maria
Porter" instead of Maria G. Porter
were none of them received, not
