Mrs Maria Webb
of Dunville Avenue, Dublin, has
sent me, on behalf of the Irish
Ladies' AntiSlavery Society £85 stg
for the Rochester Ladies' Anti
Slavery Society to be sent to you
as Treasurer "in two dividends"
the first £50 as soon as conven
ient - the remaining £35 "to be re
tained by thee till after the arrival
of some boxes of bazaar goods
which I am about again to take
the liberty of consigning to thy
care" - duty &c to be deducted
from the £35 & balance sent to you.

You can draw
on me for above £50 or its
equivalent $242.50 at one day's
sight. Please advise me of your
draft & enclose a receipt
