PLEAS AT RAMSEY, ON MONDAY AFTER THE FEAST OF ST JAMES, IN THE [FIFTEENTH YEAR OF THE REIGN OF KING EDWARD III,] [1] BEFORE RICHARD DE ISLEP AND HIS ASSOCIATES.)

1

Order to distrain the aforesaid jurors [2] to be at Ramsey on the coming Monday after the feast of the Nativity of Blessed Mary [3] before the said justices to do what will be required of them on behalf of the Lord King.

2

Henry de Burgh and Matilda, his wife, come here in the court and offer 6 d. which Theobald del Fermorie and Christiana, [4] his wife, recovered against them by a bill of trespass. [5] However, because no one of Theobald's and Christiana's party appeared to receive those 6 d., they are handed over by the court to Robert Denever, [6] Bailiff, to be paid to the said [Theobald and Christiana.] For trespass, Henry and Matilda made a fine of 6 d. Pledge: Roger Clere.
