Determination by the homage that Robert Campion, before the last court, on his deathbed, surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of John Campion and Hugh Powlter, customary tenants of this manor, one customary messuage and five acres of leasows and meadow, and one close called Wigney containing an estimated two acres lying within the manor of Bury, to the use [9] of Joan Campion, his wife, for the term of her life, and afterwards it was determined by this homage that Joan Kyrbye, wife of William Kyrbye, is the sister and heiress of the said Robert, who, present, seeks admittance, so that seisin is granted to Joan [Campion] and Joan Kyrbye by the lord, through his Steward, to be held by Joan [Campion] for life, and after her death by Joan Kyrbye and her heirs from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 26 s. 8 d. annual rent, and all other customs and services owed therein.
