Determination by the homage that John Hadden, outside the court and after the last court, surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of Nicholas Coles, customary tenant, in the presence of Roland Dawby, 15 acres of land lying in the fields of Ramsey and Bury within the jurisdiction of this court with appurtenances, to the use [2] of Francis Hadden, his son, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 6 s. and one capon annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Fine: (6 s., capon.) Fealty performed, admitted as tenant.

Determination by the homage that John Hadden, outside the court and after the last court, surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of Nicholas Coles, customary tenant, in the presence of Roland Dawby, one close called Byggers Close with appurtenances, to the use [3] of Francis Hadden, his son, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 26 s. 8 d. and three capons annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Determination by the homage that Henry Margette, outside the court and after the last court, surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of John Campyon, customary tenant, in the presence of Hugh Poulter, one piece of land lying upon May Bush [4] called Glattons Dole once held by William Taylard, gentleman, and one close lying next to Roger Byndes called Graces Close with appurtenances, to the use [5] of Henry Wakefyld, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 16 s. 8 d. and two capons annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Determination by the homage that John Coxe, outside the court and after the last court, surrendered into the lord's hands, through the hands of William Campyon, customary tenant, in the presence of William Welles, one tenement with appurtenances and 13 acres of pasture and marsh lying in the vill of Bury, to the use [6]of the said John for the term of his life, and after his death to the use of Henry Coxe, his son, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 16 s. and one capon annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein.
