Determination by the homage that George Erle, languishing unto death, surrendered into the lord's hands, outside the court, through the hands of William Barnard Castell, a customary tenant of this manor, in the presence of Thomas Grey and Richard Tomson, one (customary) messuage or tenement with orchard and close and six leasows with appurtenances to the use [7] of Francis Hubberd, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 22 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Fine: (22 s.) Fealty performed, admitted as tenant. Added further that the said George Erle died around 16 July, 1567.

Conveyance by the lord to Robert Gowler, in person, of one customary messuage or tenement with orchard with appurtenances recently occupied by Thomas Taylor, to the use [8] of the said Robert, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 13 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Surrender by Henry Margett, in person, into the lord's hands of one customary messuage or tenement with one vacant piece of a fee with appurtenances to the use [9] of Thomas Dawson and Katherine, his wife, for the term of their lives and to whomever outlives the other, and after their deaths, to the use [10] of Thomas' proper heir, perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 16 s. 8 d. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Conveyance by the lord to Christopher Tylnsley, in person, of one customary tenement with orchard and appurtenances recently occupied by Alice Ynges, to the use [11] of the said Christopher, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 5 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Fine: (5 s.) Fealty performed, admitted as tenant.

Conveyance by the lord to Robert Pereson and his wife, Isabelle, in person of one customary messuage or tenement with orchard and one close lying before Copte Hall Yard or Wardentry Yard [12]and four leasows lying at the northern end of the said close in one croft called Powles Croft, [13] and two leasows lying in the fields of Ramsey in one furlong called Wyndles Heath Furlong, [14] to the use [15] of the said Robert and Isabelle and the heirs of the said Isabelle perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 22 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Conveyance by the lord to Nicholas Poole and his wife, Alice, in person, of one customary cotagium with orchard and appurtenances presently occupied by the said Nicholas, to the use [16] of the said Nicholas and Alice for life and for the life of the survivor, and after their deaths to the use [17] of Nicholas' proper heir perpetually, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 4 s. and two-hundred loads of hay [annual rent], suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Conveyance by the lord to John Bomer Senior, in person, of one parcel of customary land (with appurtenances) called Hungery, [18] recently occupied by Thomas Grey, to the use [19] of the said John, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 4 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Surrender by Robert Thomson and his wife, Margery, (in person) and after Margery was examined alone, into the lord's hands of one messuage or customary tenement and two and a half acres of land, and one holt with appurtenances, to the use [20] of Thomas Curteyse and his wife, Isabelle, and Thomas's heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 27 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Surrender by Thomas Grenewaye, in person, into the lord's hands of one customary messuage or tenement with appurtenances recently held by the said Thomas, to the use [21] of William Kyrbye, his heirs and assigns perpetually, to whom the lord, through his Steward, granted seisin, to be held from the lord, by the rod, at the will of the lord, according to the custom of the manor, for 10 s. annual rent, suit to court and all other customs and services owed therein. Fine: (10 s.) Fealty performed, admitted as tenant.

(Forfeit.) Presentment by the homage that Andrew Throwgood, outside the court and after the last court, demised and granted to farm to Robert Peerson and his assigns his whole part of the customary fishpond and fowling places in Ugmere, [22] Brockmer and the ditches of Ashbeach, [23] by indenture, from year to year, for a term of three years, without the lord's licence and contrary to the custom of the manor. Order to the Bailiff to seize the said fishpond and fowling places with appurtenances into the lord's hands, to the use of the lord, that it be in his right and that he respond concerning their revenues.
