- Notes
- Studio group portrait of five unidentified Oto Indian individuals (possibly family members) posing before illustrated backdrop. Two men, one woman, and two young girls are present. The woman and girls wear mixtures of western and traditional clothing. The men wear traditional clothing including hair feathers, shell and bead necklaces, woven beadwork garters, moccasins, and bead embroidered wool shirt, frock coat, breechcloths, and leggings while holding wood staffs with affixed eagle feathers.
- Male subjects wear clothing with beaded designs typical of Oto revivalist clothing worn by followers of William Faw Faw.
- Inscribed image caption on front and verso: Indians in full dress taken at Guthrie OT 4/8/92.
- Title devised by cataloger.
- "William Faw Faw" variant personal names: Wah No Say, Wawasi, Waw-no-she.
- "Oto Indians" variant names: Jiwére Indians, Otoe Indians.
