- View of medicine lodge constructed out of felled tree trunks and foliage on Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Three unidentified Algonquian Blackfeet men pose in foreground; man at far left wears western clothing while other two wear mixtures of western and traditional clothing including porcupine hair roach headdresses, bone hairpipe breastplate, loop necklace, otter fur bandolier decorated with trade mirrors, silver armbands, wool blanket leggings, dance bells, and moccasins. A fourth man wearing western clothing stands inside boundaries of medicine lodge. Tipis present in background. Possibly related to Fourth of July ceremonies.
