- Full length studio portrait of Henry Bull Head standing before illustrated backdrop wearing mixture of western and traditional clothing including otter fur hair wraps, hair feathers, moccasins, bone hairpipe breastplate and blanket while holding pipe and embroidered tobacco bag. Original negative likely produced approximately 1885 to 1890.
- Henry Bull Head (Yanktonai Dakota) was 1st Lietuenant of Indian Police at Standing Rock Indian Reservation at time of attempted arrest of Sitting Bull on December 15 1890. Bull Head reportedly shot Sitting Bull after having been mortally wounded himself during the skirmish.
