- Group portrait of Struck-by-the-Ree (at left) and Feather Necklace (at right) seated before entrance to wooden building. Struck-by-the-Ree wears western shirt, eyeglasses, otter fur turban, bead embroidered and painted hide leggings fringed with hair locks, blanket, and necklace made of no fewer than eight presidential peace medals while carrying walking cane. Feather Necklace wears what appears to be traditional hide shirt, blanket, and bead embroidered leggings while holding pipe tomahawk decorated with brass upholstery tacks. Original negative likely produced approximately 1870 to 1878.
