their demands for independence. Ex-Representative
Ponciano Morales discussed the tenancy system and
suggested that the Government be urged to set aside
annually an appropriation to help the laborers acquire
and develop the unutilized lands of the country. A
resolution urging the Filipino people to boycott any
foreign firm against the independence movement was
indorsed by the Labor Section.
The meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon.
