The Municipal code and the Provincial government act, being Act no. 82, entitled "A general act for the organization of municipal governments in the Philippine islands", and Act no. 83, entitled "A general act for the organization of provincial governments in the Philippine islands" as amended by the acts of the Philippine commission down to and including May 31, 1905, revised and codified by the Committee on revision and codification appointed by the governor-general. AND CODIFICATION.
MANILA, February 24, 1904.
David Lewis Cobb, Executive Bureau; H. Warren Smith, Bureau of the Treasurer of the Philippine Islands; and 0. H. Tibbott, Bureau of the Auditor for the
Philippine Islands, are hereby appointed a committee for the purpose of codifying
and revising the Municipal Code and the Provincial Government Act, and amendments thereto, eliminating all provisions of the Acts and amendments that have
been stricken out or repealed, and including all provisions that are still in force
and effect, with marginal references and footnotes.
The committee will prepare the revised edition in pamphlet form for submission
to the Secretary of Finance and Justice for review.
