Practically every member of the Commission participated in the giving of the tests. The representative of the Commission in charge of the measurement work himself tested more than 4,000 of the 32,000 children. He gave more than 25,000 subject examinations. Two other Americans on the Commission or directly associated with it gave 10,000 more. The accuracy and honesty of their tests is unquestioned. The remaining half of the examinations were given by Filipino Research Associates of the Commission: Dr. Manuel Carreon, Professor Isidoro Panlasigui, Dr. Nemesio L. Agunod, Mr. Gregorio Ramirez, Mr. J. T. Maramara. For the time of these men the Commission is indebted to the University and to the Bureau of Education. Of the fine work of these men, we are deeply appreciative. They gave off their energy and time without stint. They had all been trained in the use of tests in American universities. They were all carefully instructed at the beginning of their work. At various times their timing of tests and giving of directions were checked up, and were found to be correct.
