- Votivekirche–The history of the twin-spired Votive Church is closely associated with that of the Hapsburg Empire. After Emperor Francis Joseph survived an attempted assasination, his brother Archduke Ferdinand Max dedicated this church as a thanksgiving commemoration. Heinrich von Ferstel designed the church and completed construction in 23 years (1856-1879).
