Two blue bands separate the design from the white base below, balancing the rim and bottom portion of the jar. The very tip and base of the piece are also marked with blue bands.

- Gilt and lacquered wooden table of ten-piece altar set. Not including the base, the set is designed in three rows, which simultaneously recede from the viewer and increase in height, culminating in one central table that rises above the rest allocated for a statue of the Buddha. Each table is carved along the edges in stylized floral and leaf patterns coated with gold gilt. The wood surfaces of the tables are coated in red lacquer, and with the exclusion of the short, wide base, each table in the set includes a mirror designed to face the viewer.

- A girl stands facing to the left, her face turned slightly towards the viewer. She is show standing in a dark dress with a high collar and long hair parted in the middle. Her dress comes to just below the knee and although she holds the hem of her skirt in her left hand, there is only slight indication of the girl's left leg. The result is a vignetted view; the artist's signature and the inscription bearing the information about the printer (Auguste Delatre) form the bottom of an implied oval frame.
