- Views of Ten Tea Houses: Takanawa
- Artist
- Torii Kiyonaga
- Physical Description
- In this print, one of a series of ten views of "tea house" districts, Kiyonaga has depicted two women and a child strolling along the shore by the sea wall at Takanawa. A woman at left shields her eyes from the summer sun with her fan, and has her obi tied in front of her. The younger looking companion holding her hand wears a gaily flowered kimono, which has fallen wide open. A child walks with them, gesturing to the side of the print. The front portion of a boat and wall of a town or temple lie behind them.

- Battle of the Sea Gods
- Artist
- Daniel Hopfer
- Physical Description
- This black and white print depicts an animated and detailed scene of nude figures and mythical beasts on the surface of the sea.Two men, with seaweed hair and riding half horse/half fish creatures, strike out at each other. A man and a woman ride a beast with a scaly body and the head of a fierce dog. In the background, a man holding a trident stands with his back to the viewer. Action and motion are expressed with billowing drapery, flowing hair and moving waves. The wide mouthed expressions of the figures and animals suggest yelling and noise in this chaotic scene. Among the many details depicted by the artist is a plaque held by the woman that has his initials.

- Kronborg
- Artist
- Luigi Kasimir
- Physical Description
- Horizontal format etching of a Kronborg city square settled on the edge of a body of water. In the foreground are the roofs and upper levels of buildings, suggesting that the view is looking down on the square from a high-up window. The buildings are drawn with great detail, all the carvings in the stone of the foreground are pronounced, and the buildings further in the distance have their detailed work and brick patterns clearly visible. In the small area of the street square is a group of figures holding long objects, possibly for the purpose of playing a game of some sort. The sky above the buildings and sea is dark, grey and cloudy, whose color is reflected on the water. In the far distance another hilly shoreline is visible.
