The lower portion of the print shows the reflections of the building and figures.

- This white porcelain jar has the design of six Chinese sages and an attendant boy with blue underglaze in delicate brushwork. One sage is reading a book, while another is listening. The attendant boy is standing next to the sage with a book. Other four sages are looking at a long hand scroll. Some sages hold staffs on their hands. One sage has a string instrument. The jar has a broad shoulder and an inverted mouth, where the lid is placed. The knob of the lid is in a shape of a reclining boy (unpainted), surrounded by books, hanging scrolls, a cane, and a fan, which are painted with blue underglaze. It also has a shallow foot.

- An image of an elagantly dressed woman in a complex kimono. The kimono consists of various flower images along the base and near the back. The lowest level of material depicts blue flowers with butterflies. Near the back of the kimono are yellow, orange, white, and blue flowers. In this same area are two crests. Another segment of the kimono, shown at the front, displays red and white stripes. The woman also wears high black sandles which can be seen poking out beneath the kimono and an elaborate gold headpiece. Behind her is a small figure, possibly a male attendant, looking up and behind the woman at the white flowers shown in the top left corner of the image. The attendant wears a blue kimono and hat with flower print and the same red and white striped material around his waist. A text inscription is above the attendant's head.

- This couplet is written in clerical script, an archaic style of Chinese calligraphy originating in the Qin dynasty (221–206 BCE) that became the dominant style of writing in the Han dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE). Like seal script, clerical script is highly legible, but it is more calligraphic, with a pronounced, wavelike flaring of isolated major strokes, especially in rightward or downward diagonal strokes.

Each table is carved along the edges in stylized floral and leaf patterns coated with gold gilt. The wood surfaces of the tables are coated in red lacquer, and with the exclusion of the short, wide base, each table in the set includes a mirror designed to face the viewer.
