A color print depicting groups of women in kimono and men gathered under blossoming trees. The woman to the far right wears a dark kimono with an undistiguishable pattern. The next woman to her left wears a dark kimono with white dots. To her left is a woman wearing a kimono of multiple layers and single colors. She is surrounded by two girls with matching kimono. The final woman to the far left wears similarly colored material, though not as many layers. The man is wearing an outfit of geometric squares.
A group of one woman and two men is depicted in the back to the left while another group is entering the scene behind them. In gront of the large group are two men talking. Two men appear to be looking outside the screens of the building, and to the right of them is a group of three women and one man talking.

Flanking her on either side are two shinzô apprentices, and at the right, two kamuro or child attendants.
The courtesans at left interact with a puppet of the actor Ichikawa Danjûrô VI in his role as Sukeroku. The bearded older man in the center is the villain Hige no Ikyû, Sukeroku’s rival for the affections of the courtesan Agemaki.

A woman who just got out of a public bath is crossing a bridge and trying to protect herself with an umbrella from the wind and rain of a sudden yûdachi. She uses one hand to keep her kimono decorated with fishing net and sea anemone patterns from flying open, and carries a soap pouch in her mouth. Three swallows fly above. The title, yu agari ("after the bath") is inscribed in the lower left hand corner of the print, just above a seal with the artist's name, Hiroaki.

This print is typical, depicting the Stove God and his wife with halos and elegant clothing. Before them is a table with common worship instruments, including candles, an incense burner, and flowers. Standing in the bottom corners are two officials, and between them a container of jewels. The jewels are flanked by a dog and rooster; animals thought to be symbols of domesticity with auspicious connotations. Above the scene a calendar for the year 1949 is framed by an auspicious dragon motif.
