This print is vertically oriented with gray markings. A cream border surrounds it and it has “NIGHT” written below it. The lower half of the print has a busy street scene with lots of people taking parts of several stories (e.g. someone empting a chamber pot on people on the street, a tipped over carriage that is being set on fire, a quack doctor performing an operation in a candlelit room). The upper half of the print shows the tops of the buildings that line the street, iron-wrought shop signs, a statue of a man on horseback in the distance, and a crescent moon in a cloudy sky.

There is a pyramid of people to the right, with lovers, beggars, and a woman warming her hands over a fire. The left has a woman in a gown and a small boy behind her. Beyond them in the distance is a large mass of people carrying posters. The upper half shows the tops of the buildings that line the square. The rooftops has a dusting of snow, and the clouds are dark as if it were an early winter morning.

This is a black ink print on a cream colored background, filled with images of human heads.The upper portion contains a multitude of facial profiles with various features and expressions. At the bottom, there are seven men, depicted larger than the others and text at the bottom of the page identifying the figures on the left as "Characters" and the ones on the right as "Caricaturas". Between the fifth and sixth figures there is a simple line drawing of a face. Another line of text reads: " For a Farther Explanation of the Difference Betwixt Character and Caricatura See ye Preface to Jo. Andrews".

A figure in elaborate costume with a fur-lined cloak, ruff collar, and medal leans on a bed or couch, a sword in his left hand and right raised with palm outstretched. He faces the viewer but does not look at the viewer. Overturned at his feet is a suit of armor. He is placed within a military tent and to the left is a distant landscape with other tents and figures gathered around a fire, suggesting this is a nocturnal scene.
