Physical Description: A small, slightly squat, globular stoneware jar, resting on a broad and short foot, with a short, narrow neck rising to hold a slightly domed lid. There are three small lug handles at the shoulder, allowing the jar to be carried by a cord. The jar is decorated with three horizontal zones of decoration, either floral or abstract designs drawn freehand in cobalt blue pigment before a translucent glaze was applied to the entire vessel.

Physical Description: A rectangular shaped plate with eight circular patterns. The rim is slightly flared out to create the concave shape. The top surface is unglazed, scorched to an intense red. The bottom does not have foot. In the kiln, the thick clay slabs were stacked close together so that the floating ash landed on the edge of the plate facing the flame. The circular patterns are areas that were protected from the flame by cylinder clay spacers.

Along the widest horizontal stretch is a design of incised concentric circles, with another row above consisting of circles comprised of a pattern of impressions marking the edge of each circle. The convex curve of the lid also contains a row of incised concentric circles, before sloping into a concave valley, and rising up again to a small plateau. It is on this landing that a cintamani style knob rests.

Physical Description: Stoneware bottle with partial white slip extending up from an incised band near the widest stretch of the body upwards to the lip. Another band is incised just above the former, creating a two-band pattern that is repeated again at the neck. Between these pairs of bands is an abstract design painted in iron-oxide, creating a brown hue against the white slip. The mouth of the bottle is also coated in this reddish-brown hue. The base of the piece is left its natural gray-brown color.

Physical Description: This is a 44.5 cm high ceramic vase. The body has an oval shape with a small rounded band as its base. The shoulder area has a rounded edge and a small flat band at the bottom of the neck. There is a short neck with a rounded, overhanging lip at the top. The vase is covered with an iridescent glaze over a semi-matt glaze that creates an appearance of irregular patches of color. It has a lilac, or lavender blue appearance. The rings of the thrown clay can be seen beneath the glaze.
