The animals are presented in zodiac sequence, from right to left: mouse, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, serpent, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog, and boar. The eight-fold screen allows the animals to seem to walk across the space. Negative space plays a significant role in the screen, creating a place for the animals to exist and at the same time extending into the room.

A sturdy, well-potted stoneware jar, with a spherical bottom, a sharply angled shoulder, and a wide slightly flaring mouth. The decoration consists of four bands of combed wavy lines: one at the waist, one at the shoulder, and two on the neck. The neck bands are bordered by three ridges, a double ridge topmost.

Vessel in the shape of a duck

Physical Description
A stoneware vessel designed for pouring or possibly to serve as an oil lamp, in the shape of a duck. The lower half of the duck's body and "legs" are formed by a shallow bowl on an openwork pedestal; the sides of the bowl have been compressed to make an elongated shape. The upper half of the duck's body, and its neck and head are formed by hand, The duck's body is hollow, with two aperture: liquids can be poured in through a funnel with a cup-shaped mouth on the duck's back, and liquids can be poured out through a wide opening at the tail.

This vessel consists of a cup with an outward-flaring mouth supported on an inverted V-shaped pedestal foot. A single oval-shaped handle is attached to the underside of the cup. The pedestal foot is decorated with four vertical rectangular perforations. Immediately below this is a pair of thin horizontal ridges, which also encircle the body of the cup.

The gray jar with a little long neck has a foot with rectangular perforations and is potted with fine silt-based clay. The relatively thin mouth is slightly everted.
