- A small, flat-bottomed stoneware jar, with nearly straight sides flaring out to shoulders only slightly broader than the base, and narrowing to a short neck with an everted rim. The decoration consists of broad horizontal bands of cobalt blue pigment at the base, on the shoulder, and at the neck. The overall glaze, normally a whitish color, is a light brown here, possibly because of less than ideal conditions in the kiln.

- This ovular box, although flat on the bottom, has a lid decorated with curved ridges and protrusions that arch across the surface. The entire exterior is speckled with tiny craters, breaking up the illusion of a perfectly smooth surface. The ash glaze decorates the lidded box with an earthy brown color. The glaz pools in the valleys of the lid and small craters throughout, creating areas of darker hue. The meeting of the lid and box body is not a straight line, but rugged.

Painted decoration is confined to the upper half, perhaps because these pots were set into the earth to keep them upright. The painted designs evoke fish nets and swirling eddies of water.

- Physical Description
- A medium size, shallow bowl with a semi-circular cut out on the rim. The bowl has flat surface on the rim and is concaved in the middle like a soup bowl. It has two holes on the opposite side of the cut out and a short foot. There is a blue band around the rim. There are two long-tailed birds in red, pale orange and yellow, perched on a blue pine tree which grows underneath the birds. Behind the pine tree trunk, there is a cherry tree in full blossom, its brunches extends in circle around the rim. The cherry tree and blossoms are in red, pale orange and yellow. More cherry flowers adorn the background of the birds. There are also red peonies on the left side of the pine tree; peony flowers also appear as spray on the four sides of the rim, backed by blue cloud design.
