- This colored engraving depicts two women in elaborate dress examining an illustration in an interior space. The woman on the left has her back turned to the viewer. She is wearing a dark green dress with an exaggerated bustle. Her head is topped with a green hat decorated with pink ribbons and flowers. She holds an image on paper, which both figures contemplate. The woman on the right is shown in profile and outfitted in a lavender dress that also features an exaggerated bustle. She wears a black hat decorated with lavender flowers and green leaves.
