- A vignetted view of a roadway with carriages is shown passing beneather a bridge crossing a river, which, too has carriages on its roadbed. The scene is one of bustling activity, although seen from a distance and from an elevated height.
- Subject Matter
- This view of the Victoria Embankment passing below the northern spans of the Waterloo Bridge was drawn from the Whistlers' suite of rooms at the Savoy Hotel.
