It will be seen that the flannel bandage committee has had heavy and laborious work, when we remember that we have received 54,007 bandages and delivered 44,(;70 during this short period of not seven weeks. Each bandage is stamped, rolled, and tied with its tape. counted in tens, packed in large bags passed to the commissary department of the government, and from there placed on the transports when ready to sail. The receivers of all donations and purchases, two ladies who have not missed one day of faithful attendance, are at a table near the door and register every article that come to the depot. They are then passed to committees on stores and hospital supplies.
