in said State, before Geo. Pen Johnston, a commissioner of said court,
duly appointed and qualified, I shall proceed to take the depositions
of John Bigler, Harvey, Jesse Morrill, Eli Goodale, Wm. Carley,
F. S. Lardner, E. Gay, Ellison, C. M. Cornell, Mace, T. Robinson, S. Cross, S. Norris, and others, to be read in evidence on the
