Decemitier 4, 1854.-The judges of the several election districts made
return of the votes polled at the election held on the 29th day of November last for delegate to the House of Representatives of the United
States, from which it appears that the votes in the said several districts were as follows, viz:

December 5, 1854.-On examining and collating the returns, J.
W. Whitfield is declared by the governor to be duly elected delegate
to the House of Representatives of the United States, and on the same
day a certificate of the governor, under the seal of the Territory, issued
to said J. WT. Whitfield of his election.
