Shell subrotund, inflated, length and breadth nearly equal, truncated positively, basal and anterior margin rounded; concentric strie on the surface. I was given this shell, with the above Inoceramus confertim-annulatus, as coming from the Upper Green river. It belongs to the cretaceous period. P1., Fig. 11 and Fig. 14.
