THE CLASSICAL CLUB OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN
In order to make for a greater unification of its aims and to emphasize the
dramatic side of its organization more than had been possible before, a revision
of the constitution of the University of Michigan Classical Club was drawn up
in the fall of I920, and made the governing document of the organization. As a
part of this revision, the constitution now provides for two councils, one dramatic,
concerning the writing and presentation of plays, the other a group of those who
look forward to teaching the Classics upon graduation.
As a result of the changes which the year has brought about, it is hoped that
The Scroll may make a noteworthy contribution to the dramatic activities of the
Campus, and help in many ways the teachers of the state, since through service
alone is such an organization justified in its existence.
