We all agreed that Jimmy's lucky star was, as usual, in the ascendant, and had certainly saved him this time, although he would not believe himself unharmed for a long time; nol would he then, until he had carefully examined all his clothing for blood-stains, as well as made a close and extended examination of each particular bone in his body, and satisfied himself that they were sound and unbroken.
