Colorado. -General William Craig. Mr. KERNAN, of New York, offered the following, Resolved, That the thanks of the Convention are tendered to Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase for the justice, dignity, and impartiality with which lihe presided over the Court of Impeachment on the trial of President Andrew Johnson. Applause and cries, "We have already done that." The resolution was adopted. General McCOOK, of Ohio. -I move, sir, that this Convention, having performed its important duties, do now adjourn sine die. The motion was put by the chair, and carried; and at fifty minutes past three o'clock the Convention adjourned sine die, amid enthusiastio cheers for Seymour and Blair. 173
