line. Within its leviathan folds are other divides,
making other feeders of the same river, and other
ranges with peaks as high as the parent among them
all, occasionally, as if weary with perpendicularity,
give way to plains, withi all the characteristics of
plains outside the mountain rDanges; and then the
added pleasure of having little mountains of their
own to make more interesting the landscape,
while up and around them are stationed the old
grand patriarchal sires, to guard and enfold what
are known as the Parks.
