Sunday is a day here where business places are closed. They are a peculiar people-zealous in good work for the only Church, in their inflated imaginations-that in,, to keep unspotted from the world a peculiarly favored few of the human family. The day is observe(] and respected, as far as a stranger can see about the city with decorum, amongst all the inhabitants thereof. All seem to put themselves on Sabbath day behavior, at least on the streets.
