- Binding: Full cloth over boards; stiffened flat-back spine; 3 sections sewn in long stitch style; folded leaves; text borrowing from atlas folding techniques; endpapers of Japanese paper in gilt; boards and spine each covered individually and assembled; central panel of front cover embellished with orange and gilt Japanese papers and a gold star affixed; visible sewing on spine. Case: housed in a custom box carrying on the design elements from the text; plexi window and collage; cloth and paper with metal hinge closure; cord carrying strap.
